I’d be happy to have any ’71 alums come to Stanford Library’s launch of my new book, WRITING AMERICA: LITERARY LANDMARKS FROM WALDEN POND TO WOUNDED KNEE, on December 1st at 4:30 at Stanford (the talk & reception are free but require an RSVP to sonialee@stanford.edu)–or to my talk at Book Passage in the Ferry Building in San Francisco on December 10th at 6 PM. Or my lecture and reception at the General Society Library in New York (20 West 44th St. between 5th and 6th avenues in New York) at 6:30 on Tuesday, November 24th.
