Part II - Personal Updates
Tell us about your professional life/ career | In 1977 I became the first Clinical Neuropsychologist at the Mayo Clinic; we now have more than 20 neuropsychologists on the Mayo staff. I established neuropsychological assessment services, research programs, and post-doctoral training opportunities during my Mayo tenure. On December 19, 2014 I retired after being on the Mayo staff for a little more than 37 years. I am now an Emeritus Professor of Psychology in Division of Neurocognitive Disorders, Department of Psychiatry & Psychology. |

Tell us about your personal life these days... | On the day that I retired from Mayo, my wife and I moved to Loveland, Colorado. |
Family | On January 6, 2016 my beautiful wife, Marie, and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary. We have two married children: Rick (Biomedical Engineer; Spouse, Stacey, is a stay-at-home mom and volunteer) and Anne (Family Medicine physician; Spouse, Joe, is a writer) and four grand-daughers that range in age from 8 to 11 (as of Decembger, 2015). |

What's been your most memorable life experience since Yale? | My marrage and family. The opportunity to work at the Mayo Clinic was also extremely stimulating and gratifying. |
If you could relive your Yale experience, is there anything you'd do differently? | Yes. I would have become more involved with clubs and activities in an effort to become friends with classmates beyond my Morse College friends. |
